Yards

When the Evergreen Addition community was initially developed, a decision was made by the committee to use fescue grass as the standard. To maintain the consistent and attractive appearance of our neighborhood, we kindly request that all homeowners who do not currently have fescue grass consider making the transition.

August offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in improving their yards. This is an ideal time to rejuvenate your lawn by eliminating undesirable grass with products like Round Up and reseeding in late September or early October.

In addition to ensuring that your grass is consistent with the community's standard, we also have a few general guidelines for all homeowners:

  1. Regularly mow your lawn and trim sidewalks.
  2. Keep flower beds well-maintained.
  3. Ensure that trees and shrubs are appropriately pruned and cared for.

By maintaining your home, yard, and landscaping, you not only enhance the beauty of your own property but also contribute to the overall value and curb appeal of the entire neighborhood. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

For those homeowners without fescue, we understand the challenges this may pose for your neighbors who are striving to maintain a harmonious appearance. Being a considerate and supportive neighbor by planting fescue is a thoughtful way to contribute to the well-being of the community.
